Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 1, 2026

Welcome to the Freedom School of Dance mobile application.

Freedom School of Dance (“we”, “our”, or “the School”) provides this application to facilitate communication and administration between the School, students, and their parents or guardians.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Freedom School of Dance mobile application and the services and information provided through it. By using the application, users agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Purpose of the Application

The Freedom School of Dance application is provided to facilitate communication and administration between the School, students, and parents or guardians.

Through the application, users may have access to information relating to classes, attendance and absences, tuition fees and payment status, announcements, notifications, the academic calendar, events, examinations, and other School activities.

2. User Accounts

Access to certain features of the application requires a personal user account.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and should not share their passwords or account access with unauthorised persons.

Parents or guardians are responsible for informing the School if their contact details or other important information relating to themselves or the student changes.

3. Classes and Timetable

Students are placed in appropriate classes according to factors such as age, level, experience, and the professional judgement of the School and its teachers.

The School may make reasonable changes to class schedules, times, groups, or teachers when necessary for the proper operation of the School.

Parents or guardians will be informed of significant changes through the communication methods available to the School.

4. Tuition Fees

Monthly tuition fees are payable by the 10th day of each month, unless otherwise agreed with the School.

Tuition fees may vary depending on the classes or programmes attended by each student.

Scheduled School holidays and closures that form part of the School’s annual programme do not result in a proportional reduction of monthly tuition fees.

5. Student Absences

When a student is absent for personal reasons while their scheduled classes continue to operate normally, the monthly tuition fees remain payable in full.

Absence from one or more classes does not automatically entitle the student to a reduction or refund of tuition fees.

In the event of a serious health-related reason or another exceptional circumstance that prevents a student from attending classes for a significant period of time, the parent or guardian is encouraged to contact the School. Such circumstances will be considered with understanding and assessed individually, taking into account the particular circumstances of each case.

6. Classes Cancelled by the School

If a scheduled class is cancelled by the School, the School will arrange a replacement class at an appropriate date or time.

Where the cancelled class is replaced, no reduction of the monthly tuition fee will apply in respect of that class.

Parents or guardians will be informed about replacement arrangements through the available School communication methods.

7. Discontinuation of Attendance

If a student intends to discontinue attendance at the School, the parent or guardian must notify the School at least three (3) weeks before the intended discontinuation date, either by telephone or written message.

Simply ceasing to attend classes without previously notifying the School does not, by itself, constitute notice of discontinuation.

If attendance is discontinued during a month, the proportional amount of tuition fees corresponding to the part of the month up to the discontinuation date remains payable.

Exceptional circumstances may be considered by the School on an individual basis.

8. Attendance Records

The application may display information relating to a student’s attendance or absence.

These records are maintained for administrative and informational purposes. Parents or guardians may contact the School if they believe that an attendance record requires correction.

9. Announcements and Notifications

The School may use the application to provide announcements, updates, and notifications relating to classes, timetable changes, tuition fees, events, examinations, performances, competitions, or other School activities.

Users are encouraged to check relevant updates regularly.

10. Photographs and Videos

Photographic or audiovisual material relating to School activities may be displayed through the application where appropriate.

The use of photographs or videos featuring students will be subject to the relevant consents provided to the School and applicable data protection requirements.

11. Appropriate Use of the Application

Users must not use the application for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorised purposes.

Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, information, systems, or functions of the application.

12. Availability and Technical Operation

Reasonable efforts are made to ensure that the application and the information provided through it remain available and up to date.

However, temporary interruptions may occasionally occur due to maintenance, technical issues, updates, or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the School.

13. Intellectual Property

The name Freedom School of Dance, the School logo, and content created or provided by the School are protected, where applicable, by relevant intellectual property rights.

Unauthorised copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of such content is not permitted.

14. Privacy and Personal Data

Personal information processed through the application is handled in accordance with the Freedom School of Dance Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

Users are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy available within the application.

15. Limitation of Liability

The School makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information displayed through the application is accurate and up to date.

The School is not responsible for temporary inability to access the application or for technical problems that are beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability or legal right where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

The School may update these Terms & Conditions where necessary to reflect changes to the application, the services provided by the School, or applicable requirements.

The latest version of these Terms & Conditions will be made available through the application.

Where required, users will be informed of material changes that significantly affect them.

17. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Cyprus.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or remove any mandatory rights available to consumers or users under applicable law.
